Hi there! Happy Thursday! Last weekend we had an extended weekend visit from my sister and today I am sharing part one of the fun LA adventures we had!
I have two older sisters, one eight years older than me and one five years older than me. When I was back in Houston a couple of weeks ago we were watching our home videos that my dad would always record and it was so hilarious to relive those years. We had the best time and still do when we get together! This last weekend my middle sister, Kristina, came to visit. Nicole if you are reading this, your trip is next! Hurry! :)
My sister landed in the afternoon so the first day we took her to Rodeo Dr before dinner at E.P. on Melrose. E.P is an Asian fusion restaurant that is on the second floor, with L.P on the roof. After dinner we headed up to the roof where L.P. is more of a bar atmosphere. A few delicious drinks later, we took her out in West Hollywood to experience night-life on a Saturday! You're welcome, Kristina! :)
We spent the next day at Santa Monica Beach soaking up the sun and sipping La Marca Prosecco. A friend of mine introduced me to it when she came to visit a couple of months ago, and now I am hooked on La Marca! Thanks Katy!
My sister is always trying new work-out places in Houston so I knew she would love LA's hiking trails! We went hiking at Runyon Canyon and she got to see the beautiful views of the city. We took my dog with us and it was his first (and probably last) hike! Since he hates walking he was carried the whole way but enjoyed hanging out at the top, and of course loved getting his photo taken! :)
Don't miss tomorrow's post where I will share part two of our fun!
