Hello there! I am so excited to be sharing an outfit with you after being absent for a week. I spent all last week back in my hometown because I had my first moment of feeling homesick and missed my family so I booked a trip and was back home within seven days! Being at home and spending time with family and friends was just what I needed, and now I am back in action in LA!
How many of you have been on a date, but during lunch time versus an evening date? It is hard because it's like you cannot get super dressed up (it's midday), but you still want to look cute! A great way to solve that is by having a solid a-line skirt and a fun top that maybe has a "cold-shoulder" (even though hopefully you aren't giving your date the cold-shoulder)! If your skirt and top are pretty subtle in color, such as mine, throw on a bright pump to really make the whole outfit pop.
Fun Fact: Lunch is my favorite meal of the day and I actually prefer my husband to take me out on a lunch date over a dinner date.
Last but not least, I have been on the search for mirrored retro sunnies. If you remember from one of my previous posts, I actually wore my husband's retro sunglasses because I have been wanting a pair! I finally found the perfect pair and they don't break the bank! They are from Civion, and they have them in three different colors: Blue, Light, & Black. Mine are the Light (which look like a blush pink), however since they are mirrored they pick up on colors around you so in the first photo they look almost exactly like the blue pair. Have a great day!
